Jose, aka Dr. J, came to us organically like any other member! He didn't even tell us he was a Dr. for a few weeks! Once we found out, it felt like the entire gym was in a better place! It is no secret that regularly being in the gym comes with some aches and pains- Dr. J has been there for all of us to work through those with a conservative, helpful approach to recovery! We are proud to announce a partnership with him and  that he is the official Chiropractor of CrossFit Pursuit !

Here is a little bit about his history and how he got started...

Dr. J Martinez Rivera is a former athlete and knows how difficult it can be, not only to recover from an injury, but to prevent injuries when you are an active individual. His interests in Chiropractic Care rose after having an injury and, once he exhausted all medical options without improvement, he decided to try and experience the outstanding benefits of Chiropractic Care. After noticeable improvement, he became passionate with the way the Chiropractor works closely with its patients, caring about their progress and enabling a better lifestyle. This is why he decided to become a Chiropractor himself.

 

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Martinez is now established in Kissimmee, FL and has three beautiful kids. He enjoys running, cycling, CrossFit and functional types of training. He is extremely passionate about fitness, wellness and truly cares about leading his patients to a healthy lifestyle pain free.
