Meet our coaches

Each of our coaches come from a different background, but all operate with the same philosophy. To help our athletes grow!

"It won't be easy, but it will be worth it." That's my coaching philosophy. Discipline is essential, and what I try to instill in all of our athletes. My favorite thing about CrossFit is the community you become a part of. Everyone is supportive, everyone wants you to do better, and most importantly everyone CARES.

Simplicity is key. That goes for CrossFit, for success, and for life. Show up and put in the effort and we can help you accomplish your goals.

Alexis

Hi everyone! My name is Alexis and I have been coaching CrossFit for 3 years. I am a Level 1 Certified CrossFit trainer, as well as a certified CrossFit Kids trainer. Outside of the gym, I am an elementary school teacher, which is another reason I have such a passion for coaching. I love teaching members new movements and being there when they finally master a difficult movement or hit a new PR! CrossFit has been a huge part of my life for the past 7 years and it will continue to be for many more! My favorite movements are squat cleans and bar muscle ups!

Natalie

Hi all!!

My name is Natalie and I was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. I started in sports very young and have played a variety thoughout my lifetime including basketball, volleyball, track, gymnastics and swimming; but my dominant sport was and always has been soccer. I played competively all the way through college, snagging two state titles while competing in High School and a runner-up National title in College. I've been an athlete since I was 5 years old and quickly became fascinated with fitness, conditioning, and the abilities of the human body at a young age. I first earned my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University in 2012, then decided to become ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) to begin my career as a health fitness advocate. I worked as a personal trainer for a few years until I was finally introduced to Crossfit in 2014.  My love for the community and competitive atmosphere had me hooked!! I decided to go for my Level 1 Crossfit Certification in 2015 and have been coaching athletes of all fitness levels ever since!! Last year I went back to school to earn an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and currently work as a therapist in St. Cloud! I truly love that I have the opportunity to help people heal and return to daily functioning as a PTA AND also can use my expertise with healthy individuals to improve movement and quality of life through Crossfit!! It's the best of both worlds!  This past year I earned my Level 2 certification from Crossfit and enjoy using the tools and skills to spread my knowledge of the sport!
